About Matt
All my life, all I have known is athletics. You name the sport, chances are I have played it competitively. The sport in which I excelled at most, was soccer. Over the years, I have accumulated over 14 years in the dedication and practice of that sport; 2 of which were in college, playing Division II. There, we had coaches, strength trainers, and medical staff at our fingertips; a perk of playing college athletics. Needless to say, through that program and resources, I learned a lot about my body, its adaptive processes, and how to build it into a powerful machine. But it wasn’t until 8 years later that I would pick up my quest for knowledge and use it to help others’ slim down, build muscle, and teach them how to create a lifestyle that yields the results they are looking for; as well as maintain those results throughout their life.

I am not your typical trainer, though. My goal, on top of achieving lasting results, is to educate my clients through the duration of our sessions. To the point to where they, one day, with the knowledge I have shared with them, can have the freedom to continue their growth on their own with confidence.

Furthermore, as a functional bodybuilder, my main focus and training style is one that promotes growth, building strength, and conditioning the body through training it as a unit versus individual muscle groups. I believe that superior fitness comes from treating your body as a whole and building it through natural, functional movements as well as feeding it with the proper ingredients to succeed. It is important to me to not just look good, but to feel good on a daily basis. It is remarkable what the human body can accomplish if you push it.
